Military Town, Inc. philosophy for donations is simple - over 93% go for programs with the remaining 7%  for necessary expenses to support operations.   These include, utilities, legal compliance requirements, internet, monthly bills, rent, payroll, accounting,  donor outreach, technology, social media campaigns, postage, shipping and other vital expenses that every other business has.  With the 93% rule, Military Town ensures that industry leading percentages are used to support our service members.  You can visit our programs page for list of what we provide - and that list grows regularly as more need is matched.

Military Town would also welcome gift cards / gift certificates / coupons and other non monetary gifts we can give out to our members.  A free meal at a local restaurant for a "date night" or fun night out with the kids would be most welcome to many of our members.  With our greatest thanks - we THANK YOU.

Our Non-Profit is always looking to partner with other non-profits dealing with military related issues.  

Common questions when donating to a 501 (c)3:

100% of your donation is tax deductible - Up to 60% of your Adjusted Gross Income can be deducted on your tax return - 

Should a taxpayer go over their limit of 60% ADJ, there is a carryover clause for the following five years.

All donations over $250 require written documentation from the charity

IRA Donations for those OVER 70 1/2 years old are available - a Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD) up to $105,000 directly from IRA to a charity is permitted, which counts as your required minimum distribution (RMD) but not included in your income.

Our list of programs is extenstive and grows as new needs can be identified and funded, with your help.  Military families face out of pocket expenses in a multitude of ways, just like any other family, with one exception - military pay is far less than their civilian counterparts. 

No overtime pay - moving as often as every 18 months - and away from family months at a time.

As a 501(c)3 organization, your donations are tax deductible.  We strive to have repeat support from our donors, as our programs are funded to the highest levels possible.  Unlike many other organizations paying CEOs MILLIONS in salary - Military Town has no high priced directors or employees.  Keeping payroll low, means more money for programs.  We also have a smaller base of members than most organizations- meaning your donation goes farther, for more people, and can create the greatest impact.  

Do you know how many non-profit companies pay directors over a million dollars per year?  50+ - which simply means they have to raise those funds for ONE person, before they can help others.  Military Town decided to create from the ground up, with a focus on helping more people.
